At Gubra we offer advanced molecular analysis based on sequencing on both DNA and RNA. All parts of the workflow from design and sample collection to bioinformatic analysis are performed on-site at Gubra.

RNAseq

Get a simple unique visual overview of your RNA-seq data, when we transform complex expression data into figures ready to present both internally and externally without further modification.

RNA-seq let you connect phenotype results with gene expression results for an enhanced understanding of underlying biological mechanisms. Our extensive knowledge of metabolic disorders allows our bioinformaticians to reduce big and complex data sets to simple easy to interpret figures and results. We are also happy to assist you in interpreting the data by setting up meetings with our team.

We offer:

  • RNA purification from e.g. mouse, rat or human tissue including RNA quality control
  • Automated NGS Library preparation for mRNA including library quality control followed by Illumina sequencing
  • Extensive data QC analysis including Principle Component Analysis (PCA plot)
  • Differential gene expression analysis (DESeq2)
  • Pathway analysis developed by Gubra including selected metabolic pathways relevant for the specific study (e.g. NASH)
  • Extensive data package including: Raw data (FASTQ, Excel), differential expression overview and clustering analysis, list of differentially regulated genes, Pathway analysis
  • Access to RNAseq data through GubraView
  • Data visualisation in a Power Point presentation ready to present internally/externally

RNAseq data package

Data package overview

RNAseq data can be accessed directly from GubraView. Compare gene expression of specific genes between groups and apply statistics. It also possible to correlate the gene expression to other endpoint within the same study.

Microbiomics

The microbiome has tremendous potential to impact the physiology or act as biomarker, both in health and in disease. Study the microbiome alone or in combination with gene expression analysis (RNAseq) from the host or correlate to other endpoints. We transform the complex data from the microbiome and other endpoints to easy to interpret data presentations.

We offer:

  • Sample collection and DNA isolation from a variety of sample types, e.g. intestinal contents or faeces
  • Complete library build and sequencing of the entire 16S ribosomal RNA region using long-read sequencing technology
  • Raw data (FAST5/FASTQ) or Excel formats
  • Identification and quantification of the microbiome composition at genus or species level
  • Biostatistics, including differential abundance and clustering analysis of the microbial communities
  • Excel file containing all data, including a list of differentially regulated microbes
  • Data visualisation in a Power Point presentation ready to present internally/externally
